A Crazy School Bus Route

One of the main reasons given in the Roper Mountain Estates’ form letters to Greenville County for commandeering “Roper Mountain Court” (Luest Road) as its own, is the “safety” of the school bus. If this is their worry, the real danger is making turns with a long wide vehicle like a bus. The 2 extra narrow turns that the bus must currently make (shown above) are there because the subdivision has buried its widest entrance on Meadowsweet. Who are they blaming? Notice that Meadowsweet was designed to be the main road and can have a much larger turning radius at its entrance.
